The fragrance of this flower is akin to that of the fragrant screw pine (Pandan in Malay). Its Malay names are Kerak Nasi or Kesidang. This creeper grows in a pot outside my fence but climbs up a pergola all the way to my balcony in the upper storey of my house. As a result, I can enjoy its lovely fragrance even at night from the comfort of my balcony!
At my kampung, common known as bunga kerak nasi. One of my late mother favourite flower. The smell are so sweet & frangrant. I've one at home. Still waiting for bloomings.

DeleteBunga wangi yg menjadi ratu di "hidung" saya! Dulunya cempaka sebelum mengenali Kerak Nasi.
DeleteAssalam...pernah dengar nama bunga kerak nasi ni...tapi ni 1st time tengok rupa bunganya...wangi yer..bestnyer dpt tanam depan rumah..
ReplyDeleteKalau Bunda suka wangi pandan, kena tanam pkk ni.
Seronoknya kalau byk camtu....mesti wangi semerbak!
